Paint brush clamps

Paint brushes make great clamps. Used the wrong type of wood filler though - I'll have to scrape it off/out again before I gesso this one.

The second one needed sommore glue - the bark was a bit loose

Wood!!

Went into Hardy town with some empty bottles for a friend who melts them in her kiln. Got stopped by a candle maker who exchanged my bottles for these two lovely pieces of wood. So here is my accidental latest project. I bought a $5 sander from junk store. One piece is sanded already, and now the gesso goes on. I'm quietly composing a painting.

Saturday's Foals

I've been playing Mum to a newborn foal for the last couple of weeks. I take the day feedings and my husband does nights. We got a little help on Saturday.....

Rain Photos

Has some pretty dramatic weather yesterday, with very heavy rainfall. I stood at the front door and snapped a few photos. These two are particularly interesting - at least, I think so.
